App Description

The NIOB Finance Insight App is a mobile information and analysis application that provides users with real-time market data, analyses, news and educational content.

No Trading / No Transactions

The NIOB Finance Insight App does not enable the purchase or sale of stocks, cryptocurrencies or other financial instruments. No transactions are processed through the app. The app serves exclusively informational and educational purposes.

Subscription Plans

The app offers the following subscription tiers:

• Academy – Access to educational content, documents and basic analyses
• Plus – Extended analyses, charts and additional news features
• Premium – Full access to all content, premium analyses and exclusive features

Collected Data

When using the NIOB Finance Insight App, the following data is collected:

• Registration data: email address, username, hashed password
• Subscription information: selected subscription plan, payment status (payment data itself is processed exclusively by Apple/Google)
• Usage data: accessed content, frequency of use, in-app interactions
• Technical data: device type, operating system version, app version, anonymous device identifier
• Optional: push token (only if you have enabled notifications)

NO financial transaction, wallet or bank data is collected or processed in the app.

Purpose of Data Usage

The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes: Provision and improvement of app functionality, management of user accounts and subscriptions, personalization of content and recommendations, technical support and troubleshooting, compliance with legal obligations. Data is not used for advertising purposes or sold to third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Personal data is stored on secure servers within the European Union and protected by industry-standard security measures: TLS/HTTPS-encrypted transmission, password hashing (bcrypt), access controls, and regular security updates. Data is only retained as long as necessary for the stated purposes (typically a maximum of 30 days after account deletion) or as required by legal retention obligations.

Third Parties & Data Sharing

To provide the app, we use the following trusted third-party providers. We do not share your data for advertising purposes or sell it to third parties.

• RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) – Management of in-app subscriptions and purchase entitlements. An anonymized user ID and subscription status are transmitted. Privacy: revenuecat.com/privacy
• CoinGecko – Retrieval of public market data (prices, charts) for cryptocurrencies. No personal data is transmitted to CoinGecko.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store – Processing of all payments and in-app purchases. We do not receive payment data (credit card, bank details), only confirmation of subscription status.
• Hosting provider (within the EU) – Server hosting of the app backend infrastructure under EU GDPR-compliant conditions.

Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

1. Directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
2. Via email to: hello@niob.app (subject: "Delete account")

Upon confirmation, your personal data will be irreversibly deleted within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the respective app store (Apple/Google).

App Permissions

The NIOB Finance Insight App requires the following permissions:

• Internet access (mandatory) – to retrieve market data and news
• Push notifications (optional) – for market alerts and news updates, can be disabled in device settings at any time
• Storage access (optional) – exclusively for local caching of charts and images

The app does NOT request permissions for location, camera, microphone, contacts, or other sensitive device information.

Analytics & Tracking

We use exclusively anonymous usage and crash statistics for technical improvement of the app. There is NO advertising tracking, NO cross-app tracking, and NO profiling for advertising purposes. On iOS, the app fully respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

International Data Transfers

Our primary servers are located in the EU. Individual third-party providers (e.g. RevenueCat) process data in the USA. Such transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and only to the extent necessary for the operation of the app.

Children's Privacy

The NIOB Finance Insight App is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18 years of age. Should we become aware that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted immediately.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adjust this privacy policy, e.g. in case of changes to our services or legal requirements. We will inform you of significant changes in the app or via email. The current version is always available at niob.finance/insight-privacy.

As a user, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
